๐Ÿ’ก ABOUT THE EVENT

HackBlitz 3.0 rewards disciplined engineering, not just working demos. Every line of code, every commit message, and every design choice is evaluated. Two days, real judges, and problem statements you've never seen before.

Hosted by the ACM Student Chapter at JIT Nagpur โ€” this event is built for students who want to go beyond assignments and prove what they can build under genuine pressure.

๐Ÿ”ฅ WHY PARTICIPATE
๐Ÿง

Think Fast. Execute Faster.

Problem statements drop on the spot โ€” no previews, no head-starts. Your raw engineering instinct is what gets evaluated from minute one.

๐Ÿ”ง

Your Process Is the Product.

Every commit tells a story. Judges watch your Git history, documentation quality, and architectural choices โ€” not just the final demo.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ

Expert Eyes on Your Work.

Industry mentors review your progress mid-round and give targeted feedback โ€” helping you course-correct before the final evaluation.

๐Ÿค

Strength in Diversity.

Mix developers, designers, and strategists on your team. Interdisciplinary thinking consistently builds the most resilient solutions.

๐Ÿ“ˆ

A Portfolio Moment.

Walk away with a real project under time pressure, a certificate, and a GitHub contribution graph that speaks for itself to future recruiters.

๐Ÿ†

The Stakes Are Real.

Only the strongest teams advance to Day 2. Compete against peers pushed to the same limit โ€” and prove you belong at the top.

๐Ÿš€ PROCESS & FORMAT
1

Round 1 โ€” Build Sprint

Day 1 ยท 24 March 2026 ยท 8 Hours

Teams are presented with problem statements on the spot. Within 8 focused hours (Day 1 of the 8+8 format), select a problem, architect the approach, and deliver a fully functional working prototype.

Judges evaluate code quality, GitHub discipline, documentation, and workflow throughout the day. A mentor session toward the end lets teams present progress and receive expert feedback.

Top teams advance to Round 2
2

Round 2 โ€” The Finale

Day 2 ยท 25 March 2026 ยท 8 Hours

The Finale is not a continuation โ€” it is an escalation. The top shortlisted teams return to campus with one purpose: to push their Day 1 prototypes beyond what time allowed.

Armed with mentor feedback and a clearer vision, teams enter the final 8-hour sprint knowing every team around them is equally capable. The round concludes with live demonstrations before the judging panel.

Higher stakes. Sharper builds.
